about

The question isn't where there is a god, it's whether he cares at all. We can all feel the divine presence, but we have been led astray by the ways of the current monotheistic religions, led to believe in all caring benevolent deity. No wonder our disbelief is at a maximum, as we are presented with so much suffering in contrast of an apparently loving god. However, our disbelief should not be in divinity itself, but in the how it has been presented. There is a god, but he is an apathetic one. Do not expect special treatment in this universe, for it was not made for YOU, but all of us. Special treatment would be the least divine action of all, for to create a truly divine universe the potential for greatness and suffering must be divided among many, not presented to one.

lyrics

A light that warms
A light that cools
A light made of a self sacrifice

Suffocation, a lesson in detoxification,
Do you hear him now?

It's not whether there is a God?
It's if he cares at all?
Would he leave us in the cold?
To betray one another [to betray one another]
Echoes of creation

Suffocation, a lesson in detoxification,
Do you hear him now?

Now there is only one direction
Of this divinity I see
There is only one
And that is me
Life is just a masquerade
An eternal funeral parade
With every passing moment
We deny our desperation
